At Arteze we try to make sure there's something for everyone, so we keep a range of animals and figurines plus all the usual vases, plates, mugs, teapots, and much more. Stock varies throughout the year, and we also have a range of seasonal items for Valentine's Day, Easter and Christmas

If your chosen item is purely ornamental you have the choice of painting with acrylic paint, which dries in about 10 minutes, and taking your item away on the day, or you can use underglaze paints and then leave it with us for glazing and firing. If you are going to eat or drink from your item it must be glazed and fired, but it is then microwave and dishwasher safe. All glazes are lead-free and food safe.

Prices range from £4 to £15 which is inclusive of paints and firing.

Whether you want a blank canvas like a plate or a tile, or something that has markings you can follow like this gorgeous Japanese figurine, we really do have something for everyone!

We can cater for about 10 people at a time but if you're a bigger group we're happy to come to you for birthday parties, hen parties, rainbow groups end of term fun, and so on.

10% discount for groups of 6+ painting on site. Mobile groups charged at standard prices, but that cost is inclusive of travel.

At Arteze we make a lot of the ceramic items - called bisque - on site. We pour liquid clay (slip) into plaster of paris moulds. These easter pieces are just out of the moulds so they still have seams which need to be cleaned off. At this stage the items (greenware) are still very fragile and will shatter if you press too hard in the wrong place. So we fire them to form the hard bisque you see in the studio. If you're interested in this process and would like to see it in action just us know when you come.
